Charity Ascent of Kilimanjaro!
After completing a half and full marathon for two charities this year (Guide dog association/Pancreatic cancer UK) and raising over £1000 I have just signed up to my next challenge; I will be climbing Kilimanjaro to raise money for the Nasio Trust – a charity aiming to break the cycle of poverty by providing education, health care and sustainable income generating projects in Kenya. The charity started in a kiosk feeding just 15 of the neediest children – today the trust has grown and now supports over 400 HIV orphans and offer help in many other ways including a fully equipped medical centre. To understand more about the good work they are doing please follow the link below:
At 5895m Kilimanjaro is the tallest free-standing mountain in the world. This trip will take 10 days, 8 of which will be on the mountain. My target is to raise £3,500 for the Nasio Trust. If you would like to sponsor me and help to raise money for this worthwhile cause, please do so by following the link below.
Thank you very much for the support.
